In everything she does on and off-cam – whether acting or performing live, whether running or partying – multi-media star Anne Curtis is guided by one operative word – FUN.
“To me, all these do not feel like a job since I love what I’m doing. I love acting. I love hosting, and I love singing, even if I can’t really sing,” Anne chuckles. ‘’I love working out and running, I love being with my friends and family. In all these, I always make it a point to be passionate about it and have fun.’’
There is one other thing that this versatile actress loves doing the most – dressing up. Known to be classy, sophisticated, yet adventurous and very experimental, Anne is considered a style icon who wields a lot of fashion influence among young, professional women like her. Her Outfit of The Day (OoTD) photos easily get thousands of ‘’Likes’’ on her Instagram posts. What Anne is wearing for the day, what shoes and accessories go with her outfits, her over 6.4 million followers on Instagram always await with much anticipation.
‘’I consider myself a girly-girl, so I love dressing up for my OotD posts. It’s really so much fun. I just love dressing up and I pour time and effort to take photos of what I would be wearing for the day because it mostly expresses the mood I am in. I like trying out different styles: from casual, to girly, to glam, to anything I am in the mood for, or what the occasion calls for. But always, I also make sure I am having fun in putting my outfits together,’’ says Anne.
THE PERFECT PARTNERSHIP
It is just natural that this sophisticated yet quirky media sweetheart be the perfect choice as the face of top women’s clothes brand Plains and Prints. Anne’s multi-faceted fashion sense can only be matched by a label that is known for its versatile fashion palette.
While many women think that one must choose between style and comfort when picking out clothes, Anne insists that you can combine both. In fact, she considers combining both very important in determining what to wear.
‘’That’s why I love how Plains and Prints’ clothes answer the woman’s need for both style and comfort. In my case, Plains and Prints has everything to suit what I feel like wearing for the day – but always with a touch of fun and girly sophistication,’’ Anne quips.
Rhett Eala, Plains and Prints creative director, has nothing but praises for Anne as the perfect image model for the brand.
“Anne is not afraid to try out new things and be bold that is why we love designing with her in our mind. She is the exact Plains and Prints woman who likes prints and color. She is very innovative with her outfits, yet still maintains that classy vibe,” explains Eala. “This is exactly how we imagine the Plains and Prints woman to be, which makes Anne a wonderful fit for the brand. Just like Anne, the Plains and Prints woman always has a fun element in her clothes because she could go from a busy day at work to a fun night out with friends. She is always well put together, and you will never ever see her dull and boring,’’ Eala enthuses.
